Your donations go directly toward residencies and stipends for emerging artists, workshops, lectures, and events for our local community, and maintaining the gardens, studios, and facilities of the Peter Bullough Foundation.

Ways to Support the PBF

In supporting the Peter Bullough Foundation, you provide assistance to working artists and create new artistic experiences for our Shenandoah Valley community. Below are a number of ways to provide sponsorship or support these causes at the PBF.

By Mail: Send your check payable to Peter Bullough Foundation to:

By Phone: Call the PBF at (540) 665-5162 to pay by credit card.

Via StockThe PBF is very happy to accept donations of stocks, bonds or other securities, and a donation receipt can be provided.  Please contact the executive director at (540) 665-5162 for detailed instructions to give your broker or financial advisor.

Directly from your IRA: If you are over 70½, you can make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA directly to the PBF. A QCD can help you reach your Required Minimum Distribution without having to pay income taxes on your donation. Call Katie at (540) 665-5162 or your financial advisor for more information. The PBF's tax identification number is 83-1954927.

What does my donation mean to the PBF?

$50 stocks the residency with necessary office, cleaning, and other essential supplies for one month

​

$500 maintains the janitorial services for one month, making sure the space is ready for residents

​

$550 provides a stipend toward living expenses for one artist for one month

​

$1,450 maintains our gardens and buildings for one month, keeping our trees and plants healthy and our buildings in good repair

​

$6,450 pays for a season's worth of events and workshops, covering materials costs, refreshments, and other expenses needed to host 

​

$6,500 fully sponsors an artist for one month; this cost includes all of the basic necessities to host a resident, in addition to providing for all the application, selection, housing, administration, and insurance costs that go toward our program

Sponsorships
