About the Event

Ever wondered how to ask just the right question? In this informative workshop, writer and journalist Ema O'Connor shares the 101s of conducting interviews. Whether it's an interview with strangers you'd like to know more about, with family members or other loved ones, or with local officials or other public figures, learn how to approach crafting the right question. Those working on specific projects, such as collecting stories for keepsakes, those interested in research and journalism, or those who just want to get better at asking direct questions are invited to attend! This workshop will include a discussion of best practices, favorite questions and methods, and then time for practice interviews with other attendees. Consider bringing with you someone you'd like to interview! This workshop will be hosted outdoors in the PBF's garden, weather permitting. Snacks will be provided!

Thank you to the Marion Park Lewis Foundation for the Arts for sponsoring this season's events!
