About the Event
Enjoy the warm weather and the PBF gardens during while we experiment and play in a plein air painting workshop with artist-in-residence Arista Wilson! Experiment and play with using different mark making tools to create images inspired by arrangements and the garden foliage.

About the Artist:
Arista Wilson is an interdisciplinary artist with roots in Virginia, currently planted in Philadelphia. Forever fond of working plein-air, Arista paints quickly on paper and porcelain to capture fleeting sensations from sweet observations. Their work explores landscapes and glimpses of foliage and constantly questions how the feeling of a place can be built out of pattern, color, and line. They received their Bachelors of Fine Arts in Ceramics from the Maryland Institute College of Art in 2023, and have completed residencies at the Fish Factory Creative Centre of Stöðvarfjörður, Iceland and Watershed Center for Ceramic Arts in Maine.
