About the Event
Join us in making intricate paper lace valentines! Join artist-in-residence, Andy Marlowe, to learn how to design and hand cut your own Valentines while also learning about the wider art form of paper cutting. Join in discussion about this history of paper cutting and how it has been used around the world. All experience levels welcome at this workshop, we do recommend that folks be comfortable using X-acto knives.
About the Artist:
Andy Marlowe is an artist, writer, and researcher from the Forgotten Coast of Florida. Their work blends text, images, and embroidery to explore their relationship to the past.
They are based in New York City.
