About the Event

Love graphic novels and comics? Here’s your chance to make your own! Join award-winning cartoonist and illustrator Lara Antal (Ronan and the Endless Sea of Stars) on Thursday, February 22 at 5:30 PM as they guide the class in creating a mini-comic that distills an individual memory into a single page of 8 comic panels. Rather than a focused plot, the class will explore memory as sights, sounds, feelings, thoughts, etc. Participants will be able to keep their comic as a memento or share it with another as a gift!

This workshop is free(!), but online registration is appreciated as class size is limited. All supplies will be provided, along with a pizza dinner. This class is open to teens and adults! Please note the event will be held at the LGBTQ+ Center at 124 W Piccadilly Street in Winchester!

This workshop is brought to you through a partnership between the LGBTQ+ Center and the Peter Bullough Foundation. PBF events this season are sponsored by First Bank and the Marion Park Lewis Foundation for the Arts.
