Ever wondered what it takes to apply to art school? Interested in learning more about what it's like to attend college for art? Join us for pizza as PBF artist-in-residence and recent RISD grad Tom Manto shares advice and information on what it's like to apply to and attend art school. This event is ideal for current and recent high school students, their parents, as well as anyone else interested in attending and learning more about art school. About the Artist
Tom Manto is a painter and illustrator from Charlottesville, Virginia. He graduated with a BFA from the Rhode Island School of Design in 2022. Manto's work spans several disciplines, notably drawing, painting, watercolor, bookbinding, digital art, and animation. Through these mediums he constructs imagined narratives rich in magical realism which highlight the necessity of imagination when envisioning a better world.
